Dear Friends

Are you curious about what was published by independent artists and publishers in 2021? So are we!

With this second book award we wanted to follow up on the initiative we started last year, highlighting and supporting publications produced during the last 12 months.

This year, we are giving away four cash prizes. Three will be decided by the public through online voting and one will be selected by VOLUMES, to support a under the radar publication produced with small means.

Our intention with this initiative is to create a gathering and a showcase, both online and offline. All publications will be exhibited at our Christmas Edition, on December 19 at Zentralwäscherei Zürich. They will then carry on being activated through our archive project.
